Procedure – Preparation
Remove the vial cap and wipe rubber stopper with antiseptic; discard if damaged.
Use an 18 G sterile needle with a 10 ml syringe to draw and add sterile Water For Injection (WFI) to the vial.
Shake the vial to mix completely and let it sit for 20 minutes.
Shake the vial again before administering treatment.
Wipe the rubber stopper with antiseptic; use an 18 G sterile needle with a 1-3 ml syringe to withdraw the suspension.
Administer treatment using a sterile cannula needle as follows:
iLLUMA PLLA 200 (Use with Cannula 27~28G) / iLLUMA PLLA 500 (Use with Cannula 23~25G)
Procedure
Stretch the skin opposite to the injection direction; insert needle at a 30-40 degree angle.
Ensure proper needle depth to avoid visible needle tips or shallow injections.
If injection sites turn white, massage gently; do not re-inject if discoloration persists.
Use ice packs to reduce swelling or bruising.
Advise patients to massage treated areas post-injection to enhance effect.
Caution :
Inject only into lower dermis or hypodermis layers.
There is a risk of hematoma or bleeding with anticoagulant use.
Avoid shallow injections to prevent papules or nodules.
Injection into blood vessels may cause obstruction or embolism.
Each vial package should be used for a single patient only.
Store below 400C, avoid refrigeration and strong impacts.
